| Anyone own a Dyson? Need a review My vacumm died yesterday I hear good things about a Dyson. I checked on line and really like the slim model. It's perfect for what I need. I was wondering if any of you have this make and how do you like it? Thanks in advance. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | my brother and SIL just bought one and went crazy over it - they said it's the best vacuum they've ever used and it should be for what it cost |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I have the animal dyson...and it is...the BEST vaccuum cleaner I have ever owned. I have cats and am always amazed at the amount of dust and fur this thing picks up everytime. It also brings up the fibers of your carpets too...making them look fresh and new. Go for it....best money you will ever spend. PS I should tell you....I am NOT molly mcclean freak either...so to give a glowing review on a vaccum should really tell ya something.

V, your so right. They cost quite abit however they have a 5yr warranty as opposed to all the other's who carry only a 2yr. I went to factory direct and s/h is free and the prices are alittle better. I would rather not have to do this but I need a vacumm. The last one was 20yrs old and was my MIL. Electrolux and I have to say it really lived up to it's name. I plugged it in yesterday and nothing! It was a dead as a door nail! It worked last week but I guess it went to vacumm heaven sometime during the week. Thanks everyone for your imput. | |

| Love it, love it, love it. I have the purple one. It's embarrassing to look at all the dirt it picks up. When you can see the dirt at least you know it's working. I hated the old vacuum with the bags that you had to change. I got mine in either BJ's or Costco. The furbutts don't like it though, maybe it watching their dirt swirl around or the sound but they run in the other room when I vacuum

| I have the animal Dyson and I can honestly tell you that it IS the best vacuum I have ever owned. It picks up things that most vacuums leave behind and the suction is really powerful The only drawback that I know of is that I was told that parts are hard to come by right now and when my Brady chewed through the cord recently ( not plugged in ) we were told that we were lucky that the broken area was near the end of the cord, because another customer had been waiting many months for that exact part. |

| I just bought the purple animal dyson dc-17 and we LOVE it. some of them felt really flimsy to me when we were trying to make up our mind but this one seemed very sturdy. we got home and vacuumed the house and we were AMAZED at how much it picked up. we had our carpets shampoo'd just about 3 weeks before getting it, vacuumed the day before getting it...and it still got SOOOOOO much dirt and dust out of the carpet...and off of our furniture. we absolutely love this thing. The warranty is great too. I am not sure if this is true or not, but I was told that you can take it to any vacuum repair place to have it fixed if need be....that is pretty convenient. It's funny, I went out of town yesterday (just a day trip) and was actually looking forward to coming home and vacuuming (i kinda weirded myself out because I hate to clean) but I got home and DH had vacuumed the entire house!!!!! I was shocked...and a little disappointed that I didn't get to do it LOL so yes...it's great I say go for it!!!!
