How exciting! It won't be too long now! Please keep us updated on you and baby Alex! |
I had all my labor pain in my back both times. I had the bloody show with my first, and delivered him 36 hours later. God bless you with a safe and speedy delivery. |
Baby sounds like your almost ready. Watch the contractions because that is what they are. If your nervous you can always go to the hospital that your set to deliver and they can check you out. Better safe than sorry. Your water might not break ( all three times my bag had to be ruptured) so dont' wait on that as a sign that your there. Take a nice warm shower and make sure your bag is packed and ready to go...I don't think it will be long before your ready to rock there. |
I don't know your pain tolerance but I was contracting with less pain than my period cramps were. I was so nervous going in to have my son and got there and thought this is it? You hear so many horror stories about how bad it is. I spent most of time laughing at the lady next door kick the doctor in the face and scream. The nurses told me I was easy because I never wanted anything. I did have an epidural but it wore off, so I got to feel about an hour of having my son. It's not as bad as they say. My mom was right along my side the whole time as was my husband, my mom said "gosh, I wouldn't want a bunch of young girls in here to see how easy it is." Wish you all the best in your delivery. |

I had all back labor - none of the traditional contractions all the books talk about & what they taught at childbirth classes - so I didn't realize I was in labor. It was horribly painful -- I've only had one child, but the delivery nurse told me if you have back labor with one that is usually how you deliver all your babies. What they did for me was have me sit on a shower chair and let the warm water hit my back - that did help. Warm water can be soothing. Have you talked with your mom about what her labors were like? I know a lot of people say their labors mimic what their mom went through. Glad to hear the floods are not so bad. Hugs & prayers for you. |
How exciting! Good luck and best wishes to you and your baby! I hope you have a quick labor and delivery! *HUG* Can't wait to see pics of your new little one! |
Just checking in to see how the "hatching" is going:D Take care sweetie. |
