| Stupid Poopy Head I got pulled over on the way to work today! BLAH! I was going 22 over (oopsies). It was on one of those highways where the speed limit is only 55, but everyone goes 75 anyways..so I was just keeping up with the flow of traffic. MAN!! Now I have a speeding ticket I have to worry about paying off. If it's not one thing..it's always something else...

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Not only do you have that to contend with but the insurance company gets notice of a ticket like that. Also see if it took points from your license. A cop told hubby your allowed to go 10 miles above the limit without being ticketed.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | The bad thing is that most times you dont' really realize your going so fast...when you try to just go with the flow that seems to get you in trouble.

| I have hired a lawyer for my last two tickets. If you set a court date, he/she will go in for you (for about $100) and have it withheld...no points on record and don't have to pay ticket. |

I got a ticket in Texas and did there probation. I paid $90.00 and did not get a moving violation any ware for 90 days. If I did I would have had to pay the Full ticket and more. after the 90 days It was off my record. Maybe they have something like that there? | |

| I got pulled over for doing 10 over... It was 40 and I was going 50, but in my defense, its a main highway, Route 119, and everybody goes 65, but there was nobody on the road that night, so the cops specifically targeted me... I didnt get a ticket though, I dont know if it was because I was only going 10 over. I like to think it was because of Roxy thought . I seem to get a lot of free stuff and perks because of Roxy's cuteness! lol.
