Thank you! You really give me hope! I was planning to adjust it if it kept making me sick but it passed. Last weekend I just layed around and felt like dying though. I'm having those crazy vivd dreams all night though so I stay tired. I've been going to bed at like 8 or 8:30 and sleeping until 7:30. Last weekend I slept 12 hours Fri, Sat and Sun! It's crazy- and I'm STILL tired. My mom suggested it could be that I'm in REM sleep all night and not getting the deep sleep stage. I wake up every morning feeling like I've been watching a movie all night.

My grandsons both play for travelling hockey teams, and I worry all the time when they are on the buses and the roads are slippery. Not only do we worry about our children, we have to start into the grandchildren as well.
She'll be fine, although I know you can't help but feel anxious.

I can only imagine. My daughter is almost 9 and I think about the first time she is going to go somewhere w/out me and it freaks me out. I don't even let them play in the front unless an adult is w/them. She (and my hubby)think I am over the top.
I am sure your daughter is going to have a geat time! Try not to worry. ( I kow way easier said then done!)

aaawww Nikki! I know what you mean though, when i have waved my nathan off on school trips you have that awful empty feeling, I have awful thoughts, like, what if the coach crashes? will he brush his teeth properly? lol it's hard to see them growing up and doing things without you there to watch over them

Thanks everyone. Well, she's off. She is so sweet though, she could tell I was upset and when I got home she had already called and left a message teasing me and saying she was already on the top of a mountain. Then she called me again to make sure I got the message (and to make sure Spike was okay ). I just can't wait until Tuesday when it's over. I always get a little anxious when she goes on trips but this one is just extra hard because I just keep picturing icy mountain roads.

I'm (obviously) not a mom yet , so I can't imagine what it feels like. But I'm sending hugs cause I'm sure it stinks!

OMG my poor daughter! She called me at 8:30 this morning- STILL on the bus. The bus broke down in GA at 1:00AM and they had to wait 5 hours for another bus to come from FL. The left from Orlando at 9:00 last night and they still aren't there. She just called and said they were finally almost there. I would be ready to go crazy but it's snowing and she is so excited! I can't wait to talk to her after she has gotten off of the bus. She is thrilled to get to see snow.

It was so funny when she called this morning. Keep in mind she is a born and raised FL girl and we only vacation in warm climates. She said mom, everything looks so weird it looks like it's fall. The trees don't have any leaves and the grass is brown. I said honey, that's what winter looks like. She said oh well, I really don't have experience with this sort of thing you know but it looks very strange.
