| Mandee, Tenn. has got to seem like the tropics compared to Iowa right now. It's below 0 and then if you add in the wind chill - it's absolutely frigid. We got 6 inches of snow last night & I have the longest driveway in the world, up a hill no less, that had to be shoveled out before I could go to work. Saturday's high is suppose to be 5 with a low of 5-below & windchill is suppose to be 20-below during the day!! I know a lot of the country is getting hit with this horrid cold spell

| I'll trade. I love being cold (probably 'cause we don't get enough cold down here in Tx). Thankfully it's probably in the high 30's right now. Woo hooo.... This week anyhow. Next week it will probably be 70 again. |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Don't worry soon you will be very warm as the pregnancy progresses. I went through three pregnancies in the winter ending in the spring/summer time. I never purchased any maternity clothes that were long sleeves (good way to save a buck and make that sucker go along way now that I think of it) because I would over heat fast. So insted I always purhcased short sleeves and would carry a sweater that I could easily take off. I too am dying to get rid of the winter. I hate having to go out in the cold or snow.

| I agree..............I have ZERO tolerance for the cold. I walk around all day w/my bathrobe on. When someone comes to the door I have to strip down quick. The kids that I watch get a big kick out of that!

| It's cold here, too Our winter so far where I am in Canada, has not been too bad. We seem to have a lot of mild spells mixed in. Although, we are headed for a cold snap within the next couple of days. We don't seem to get the snow the way i remember as a child, we would go tobagganing almost every day. Problem being, we would stay too long and could hardly make it home. Ah , those were the good ole days. I'm with the rest of you, though, bring on the Spring. Janice |
