| What will you do! (Jesus Poem) What Will You Do? What will you do with this one called Jesus? If asked this question, what would you say? Would you, by faith, accept Him as Lord Or like the Inn-keeper, turn Him away? Each one must answer this question some day. Eternity depends on the answer you give. Accept Him and Love Him for what He has done, For He died on the cross that you might live. When we stand before God on judgment day The book will be opened by the Holy One. Our name will be written in the Book of life The day, when by faith, we accept God's dear Son. What have you done with this one called Jesus? Better take time right now to decide! Decisions have to be made today. It will be way too late, after you've died. |

| i dont want anyone to take this the wrong way........ but religion is kind of wierd (any religion.....) i have taken an interest in studying other religions and cultures and it is just such a strange topic that causes so much discord between people of religions other than ones own (to some people.... i do not mean everyone)..... has anyone else read up on religion in general???? im not talking the bible, im talking history and pure facts (for all their GOOD and BAD) |

| I think there is a time and a place for religion and hate having it forced upon me. I've read a ton about it and have no found one that I am 100% comfortable with. Prefer science and perosnal spirituality.

| i kinda dont get the whole poem even............ chewysmom.............but whatever, we dont know the reason why........ this is an offtopic category, and this is certainly off topic.......lol..... maybe a little too much so i read the posts that say "we are praying for you" and i cant help but think "thats nice but i would hate to have that directed at me" ...... i prefer someone elses approach of saying "we are sending you positive thoughts" )i cant remember who does this)...... when anything gets into religion i cant help but think back on being BRUTALIZED by my aunts because my mother didnt "raise us right by bringing us to church"........ different stroked for different people though eh? |

| Yeah, I know it's OT but to post something like that with no "note attached" or reason why she wanted people to see it is strange. It takes all kinds |

| I always try to say that I am sending positive energy bc thats what I believe in. Have you guys ever read Seat of the Soul by Gary Zukav? Its all about karma and energy and intention. It literally changed my life when I was going through some life stuff about 6 years ago!

I personally find it *extremely offensive* but I also believe in free speech as long as it's not a personal attack. | |

| Prayers, positive thoughts, good energy, it doesn't matter what form it takes or what 'religiosity' you prefer. It all comes back to caring about others and letting them know that you do care. That's the point in it all anyway, isn't it? I've studied lots of religions and most 'Christian' theologies and they all boil down to the same thing - we are not alone as long as we have the ability to love, we are connected to each other and to creation by that one common denominator. If we could just let go of dogma and theology and concentrate on caring for each other just as we are, I think we could all get along no matter what our individual beliefs are.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | well it is off topic. i too was supprised to find it here, but its not like there's something wrong with it. she didnt mean it to be offensive, just sharing a thought. i saw somewhere on here that someone said they love reading the off topic posts because some of the things the people post really supprise them. i guess this is one of the things. i guess it could be offensive to some people but she didn't mean it to be. just putting in my 2 cents.

| Food for thought: If someone posted a poem here about atheism and little rhymes about how God and heaven and hell do not exist and all reasons for believing in evolution, would you find that offensive? |

| Religion and Politics are similar. Not everyone thinks or believes in the same thing.
