I have pcos along with cysts and possible fibroids. I had my second child after having pcos. It just took longer (actually 7 years). But we didn't have any intervention. Actually we did try with Clomid. When we stopped trying and left it to the Lord, He blessed us in His timing.

PCOS isn't a life sentence and a mild fertility problem (incomparison to others) nevertheless it can seem like the weight of the world when we long to have a child.

There was a site I'd read in researching, I think it was hystersisters. com or maybe not. But you can do a search, there is a nice forum. Drs. do recommend a low carb diet and alot of them prescribe glucaphage also.

So, I am finished with my Cloimd 2 days ago, and still no period...but my Dr said that it could take a week or so to get it started. Anyways I started my Metformin 500mg 1xday yesterday. I also started a 1 a day multivitamin. I am feeling much better though, still pretty sleepy/tired. I will keep ya guys updated.
