| ugh...that's crazy I doubt it is even legal to own one in some places. Why would you want a 30lb cat! No way... It says their temperament is good but I'd be wary of buying a cat that is descended so closely from wild cats. It kind of reminds me of the Bengal breed...I'd buy one of those before the Ashera. Well, I woudn't buy either as I love Persian cats..they'll always be my breed of cat. I don't think this site is really that legit anyway...just a money making hype. Did you see their hypoallergenic dog that they are developing for only $15,000 a pup?!?http://www.lifestylepets.com/dogs.html

| It truly is a legitimate site. I heard about it on the radio and just wanted to share it because it is so darned odd. A $22,000.00 cat? To me, it's absurd. Actually, you couldn't PAY ME to own one, but they have sold quite a few. |

| doesn't seem very secure to walk a cat on a collar and leash. Most people that walk their cats use a figure-8 harness and leash. Cats could easily slip out of a collar..and probably most harnesses if they tried hard enough

| I would NEVER pay that much for a cat but I do think that one is beautiful. I would be afraid it would come after me in my sleep though.

| I did a search for the dog -- and it came up with a site that said this company was "genetically engineering" the cat and dog... so -- are these test tube babies? |
