Oh Im so sorry to hear about this! It breaks my heart. My little brother just finished a tour in Iraq for 10 months and he is waiting for orders to go back. Its so hard to have a loved one go over there. This is all so senseless. I pray that the new president will put a stop to all of this next year so we dont have to go through this anymore. (((HUGS))) to you! |
I am soo sorry! I know how you feel, my husband is in the Marine Corps and went to Iraq in 2004 as a rifleman and I was soo scared. Having a husband in the military is hard! My husband had been gone for over half of our marriage..with field time, schools, duty and deployments. I will pray for you guys, try to stay strong, I know it's hard. |
I cant even imagine that..no way..this must be very difficult for you and your children!! Your husband and family will be in my thoughts.. Dawn |

I have no idea what that feels like. My husband has never been in the service. I'm sorry your going thru this. :( I will say a prayer that God keeps your husband safe and brings him home to his loving family after his tour is over. :hands: Please let your husband know that we are so proud of our servicemen and women. :usastar: Whenever you feel lonely, just remember your friends here on YT will be glad to talk to you. :) |
wow I will keep him in my prayers ,and sending hugs your way. |
Sending prayers to your way:hands: |
I commiserate with you. My Grandson, who lives with us, is in Iraq for the second time. He was there all 2006, back for 2007, and now is there until ???? The first time I was just scared spitless, but finally learned to take it one day at a time. I hope the Lord is as kind to him this tour and keeps both your husband and my Grandson and all other sons, uncles, brothers, etc. safe in his care. |
Thanks for your family's sacrifice. You will be in our thoughts. |
I am so sorry. I can't imagine what deployment feels like, though I am sure one day I will know. Except here my fiance is actually waiting and wanting to go to Iraq. If and when he does...I can't even think about it. I am fortunate enough that all of my friends who have been over there already have all come back safely, I'll keep your family in my thoughts. Though I'm sure this does little to ease the pain, ((Hugs)). |

So sorry that your hubby will be leaving for awhile. The commitment that your family has is so appreciated. I am sure that it is difficult, but also so very much admired. You and your children are worried and saddened, but must also be so proud of that dedicated man!! Thank-you (and your family) for your sacrifices and dedication!!! :flag42: :flag42: :flag42: |
I can understand what you are going through. I am in the military too. I have only been deployed a few times, but not for 15 months. I went to Turkey for 3 1/2 months right after the 9/11 then again the next year for another month and then was also gone to Hurricane Katrina for another month-5weeks. Where I have been is nothing like going to Iraq. The first time I went to Turkey me and my husband were not married yet, but had only lived together for 6 months before I had to leave. I was a basket case when I got the dreaded phone call that night at home. I will never forget it. I only had a few days after getting the phone call before I had to leave. It is a very emotional time and seems like you are never really ready to go. Spend as much time together as you can. I will be thinking about you. |
