| Printer recommendation I've tried, and tried to get my lexmark printer to work. its only a yr old, but has officially bit the dust. I really need a new one, since its so much easier to print shipping labels at home, rather than go to the Post office to mail stuff. I can only spend around $50, and we only have Walmart in town. here is the link to their printers under $50 http://www.walmart.com/search/browse...atNavId=659939 Is there a certain one that anyone has had a good experience with? It doesn't have to do anything but print B & W and not run through expensive ink cartridges like crazy.

| I would def. go with an HP. That is what I have at home and also all of ours at the office are HP. I have never had any problems with them and their ink seems to last for a long time. Mine at home is an HP all in one (not sure of the model number) but I have had it for about 3 years and just this past year I had to replace the ink cartridge. I don't print all of the time but I do frequently. I print pictures too and they turn out really good. Mine was about $89 though. Good luck!

| I would go with hp... I've had mine for over 3 years, and it still runs great. The ink last for a long time. I'm actually printing my own wedding invitations and I've printed 400, and then everything for me and the fiance for school, and it's still got alot of ink left! I have the one like this (all in one... but mine doesn't have the fax, i'm not sure if this one has it) http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=6023292 But... I paid over a hundred for it back them... Worth the money though!

| This was actually an old thread. I ended up buying a Hp cause it was the cheapest walmart had at the time, and it has done much better on ink than my lexmark did.

| Thats okay! I'll probably upgrade as soon as I get a fulltime job, so I'll save your pm for reference. When I first opened it I was like "huh?" then when I saw this thread had been bumped, it made sense.
