I get fried okra at Walmart in the deli!!!! YUMMO!

I like to put it in my gumbo, hubby doesn't like it boiled, so I only put it in when I'm pissed at him. That's fair...right???

Welcome back okra lovers. I have some frozen chopped okra, steam it in the micro with just salt, love it and so does my husbands monkey.

So the frozen (unbreaded) okra you can buy at the store.... you think it is good? I haven't tried it. Is it slimey cause of being frozen?

Yes a real monkey, he is a little compuchion, he keeps it at his farm.
The frozen unbreaded is a little slimey but I love it.

I have found that if we get the frozen stuff at Wally's, you have to eat it really fast, otherwise it gets cold. Poor me.
