| How many of you ladies???? Work in a male dominating career. I'm an aircraft mechanic for a commercial carrier and am the only female working at this location for my company. I was wondering if there is anyone else working in an industry where females are the minority. Thanks for sharing

| I'm a service adviser in a Chevrolet Dealership. There's one other female that's a n adviser. Otherwise, all my techs are male. A good bit of my other co-workers are male. And a good bit of my customer base is male too.

| Well I just retired, but for 22 years I was an electronic technician working for the federal government designing and testing fiber optic guided missiles. I also was in chanrge of the timing systems for our testing range and flight termination (blowing up wayward missiles). All of my co-workers were male as well.

| Hey, if you like to read, have you read any of the books by Barbara Seranella? She was an auto mechanic in her younger life, and has written a series of murder mysteries (called the "Munch Mancini" books) where the heroine is also an auto mechanic. I've read them all (she was a friend of mine, recently deceased after a liver transplant) and they're pretty entertaining. And I always thought it would be interesting to be an airplane mechanic!! My dh is a pilot (private) and used to do it too!

| I am a Vice President for a small oil and gas company, there are almost only men in this field, although there are more and more females up and coming! In Texas the good ol' boys dominate right now but as all the boomers retire we females are taking over with our beautiful brains and sharp business tactics!
