| My sons just had BAD news Their Dad (my ex) called and said that his brother (their Uncle) was in a terrible car accident early this morning. He and his step father were hit by a teen driver who fell asleep at the wheel. Their Uncle's back is broken and their step grandfather has 6 broken ribs and numerous lacerations. Rocky is very fortunate that the type of break he has is a compression break, which means that he won't be paralyzed, but he is in excruciating pain. My sons and DIL really love Rocky so PLEASE pray for him. He and his wife lost their oldest daughter in a car accident right after her 16th birthday. Her spine was completely severed and I can't imagine how Rocky's wife felt when she got the call and found out he had a broken back. Sorry to be so long............

| Hope that they fully recover from their injuries. You must be a great MOM.... many divorced parents don't have compassion for an "Ex" or their family....... but it is so important (as you know) because it still is your son's family. Prayers going out to them............

His brother (Rocky) was devastated when my ex and I divorced and he always told me if the kids needed anything to let him know. My ex's family love me and keep in touch thru my sons (who are adults now). I believe that what I went thru with my ex made me truly appreciate what a wonderful man my second husband was. When he died, my ex and his wife were very sympathetic.
