| Maybelline's New Mineral Powder Makeup I seen seen an ad that Maybelline came out w/ a full line (or a set) of Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Makeup ----- I guess their brand of Bare Minerals. Of course, it is cheaper.........I wonder how good it will be?? Anyone already try it? My daughter is always wanting something like this, but her Dermatologist told us to stay away from powders.........

I'll bet the Derm meant regular powder, I'd call and ask. Regular powders are full of petroleum and talc, both of which are major pore cloggers. The minerals are supposedly good for the skin. I'd love to know if you do speak to the derm doc again, get his take on the mineral stuff

| I've been using it, alternating with liquid. It's ok - nothing that I would rave about, but I haven't tried other mineral powder products either. |

| I have used the Neutrogena one for about a year now and just tried the Almay and like it even better!!! Much easier to apply! And the Neutrogena and Almay are VERY affordable.

| For me it seems to match my skin tone better and cover better. I am 48 and never been afraid to get out in the sun and my face shows that now! Plus it seems to go on faster...I really like it. The Neutrogena was nice too...I like them both.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I got the one from Avon online and I like it a lot; I never actually tried the bare minerals, but I didn't want to spend that much in makeup. I think they have it on sale right now at 7.99. Yesterday I got an Isadora mineral blush in Walgreens and I like it too. |
