What temp do you bake that at? 450? It sounds easy enough I want to make it and surprise Mike with it! "Look, honey, I made cornbread!" LOL He'll probably faint.

| There is a HUGE difference in the flavor and texture. White cornmeal makes a "finer" cornbread and yellow cornmeal coarser. I usually use yellow cornmeal when I want sweet cornbread and add a about 2 tablespoons of honey or sugar. |

| Yep, I use Jiffy cornbread mix, too. Hubby likes muffins so I spray a muffin tin with Pam and just follow the directions on the box. It is slightly sweet and so yummy!! Couldn't be more simple

| Wow didn't know there were so many variations on cornbread. I've always just used the Jiffy mix. I need to save some of these recipes because they sure sound yummy. I love sweet cornbread right out of the oven with butter...mmmm mmmm. If I ever need any recipes or food advice, now I know where to post my questions.
