She's precious - Congratulations!

When she was born she had the biggest eyes I had ever seen and she was so wide eyed trying to take in all her new surroundings. It was so cute!

Thank you so much, this is how I felt too and that is the word Ive been looking for- breathtaking! I couldnt think of the word (I think I still havent regained my brain function yet, lol). I always knew I would be totally in love with my baby and think she is the most beautiful angel in the world but when she came out she was so stunning I was actually shocked and I remember thinking "That's MY baby?". I spent earlier in the month looking at my baby pictures and my husbands baby pictures and we were not nearly as cute so I was a bit surprised how breathtakingly beautiful she was, lol

I still cant believe she is mine!

I knew my husband would be a great daddy but still I am so amazed at how much he loves his baby girl and its so fun watching him coo over her and Im so impressed with how much he is doing around here. He has seriously changed like 50 diapers to my 3, lol. I feel so lucky. He is such a proud daddy and he even logged on to YT last night on my account just to read all the post everyone had to say about his baby girl (he has never logged onto YT before so this was HUGE)

Hopefully, the night owl thing will turn around for you. There is documentation on the "2nd night" of babies - the 2nd night of their lives turns their clock literally around, but then it slowly gets back to normal. So, let's hope that happens for you guys. Keep those photos coming!!!

The night owl thing is already starting to turn around. Yesterday she was awake more during the day and did much better at night

Most new babies are cone headed and swollen looking LOL

She actually did have a major conehead and a big bruise on her head (they had to use a vacuum to help get her out)

But after about a day her head was completely normal looking again. We actually just got done with our first pediatrictions visit yesteday and Tess has shrunk a whole inch, all because of the cone head! She is almost back up to her birth weight again which is great and Im so happy
