| My Aunt is an esthetician and she turned me onto Jane Iredale, it is by far my favorite mineral makeup and once I am done with school that is all I will use but it is on the expensive side. I am going to school for esthetics also, and when I am done I will get a discount (80% off!!!) untill then I use Bare Mineral makeup; it has great coverage, looks really natural, and my skin had gotten so much prettier since i switched to minerals. Alot of plastic surgens' offices sell it in boxed kits at a great price. (They don't mark it up as much as the retail stores, in my experience) I am excited that you decided to look at the mineral makeup it really has made a big difference in my skin and doesn't have the horrible ingredients that some of the others do!!!

| I have Bare Minerals too and I loved it, but my sister told me about Loreal Bare Natural and I love it much better, I use it instead of the Bare Minerals and it is so much cheaper. I got mine at Wal-Mart. |

Neutrogena also has a mineral foundation that I LOVE..you just shake it and it comes out onto the brush.. BM makes my face break out more and the Loreal one seemed to cakey for me..but the Neutrogena one is just perfect..and its about $7 for a tube that last a while! I think they also have eye shadows and concealers now..

| The Loreal is just one step. It takes time to learn how to put it on and the coverage you want without making it look cakey. I have never tried the Neutrogena but my sister did and she took it back and got the Loreal. You have to make sure to put just a little bit of powder on the brush before appling and I don't apply it right after I moisturize because I find it cakes worse. Also it took 2 tries to get the color right. The first one I got at Rite Aide and I took it back for a refund, and the second I got from Wal-Mart and that color worked for me. |

| My mom & sister got me started on it over 2 years ago & I got my friends to try it. We all love it. For those who are having some coverage issues you might try the "maximum coverage concealer brush" (looks like a 1/2 wide flat paint brush) & "Multi Tasking Face" (I use bisque or summer bisque depending on how much sun I have had) - I have rosatia - I start with "prime timer", then "multi Tasking" in the red areas, then my foundation, last my mineral veil. I went to work one day without my makeup on & my friend saw the before & after she hasn't worn anything since.

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | I just copy and pasted this (one of my replies) from another Bare Minerals thread I responded to I LOVE Bare Minerals! It is all I use, and all I will EVER use!!! This is the best makeup I have ever put on my face! Everything you said is 100% on the money. It is light and silky and doesn't EVER get "cakey" at all. I just love the fact that when you wear it, you look great yet you don't look like you are actually WEARING makeup - you just look totally natural I also use Fairly Light (which is the color that 99% of people I know use) and it matches my skin tone PERFECTLY and you never, ever have any base lines - or, "lines of demarkation" as they call it It's just totally perfect in every way! Bare Minerals was on QVC tonight (YAY!!! ) and I ordered the HUGE jar of Gossamer that they had on, and it comes with one of the bigger Kabuki Brushes (I already have one of those of course, but this one is bigger, so that you can use it all over the body). The Gossamer is just GORGEOUS!! I can't wait to get it in, I am so excited! I called my best friend and told her about it, and that it was on, and she called in and ordered it too! It is going to be so gorgeous for the Holidays I'll be ordering RareMinerals next!!!

| Hi! I got my BE from ulta about 1 1/2 months ago & I love it! what exactly is the gossamer?? |

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | It is basically just an all over body shimmer - but it is just so...gorgeous The texture is very fine (just like all of the other BE makeup) - there are no big "chunks" of GLITTER or anything...it is just very soft and shimmery. It is great for going out, or even just putting a little on your neck area is nice. They were even putting it in their hair, on their legs and on their feet (when wearing dressy, open toed shoes) on T.V.! It can go pretty much anywhere The brush you get with it is so nice too...it's the Body Buki and I just love that thing!
