We have DSL. I bought a router at Wal Mart for 49.99 and now we have all three computers able to get on the Internet. My son and hubby each have a laptop and can go anywhere in the house, use electricity or battery. We do not pay an extra fee for wireless.

If you check with your internet provider...they will be able to tell you everything available within your area and at what cost. Hope this helps.

if you really want a ma , look on the apple website and look at their refurbished macs. i got one a year and a half ago and have had no problems with it at all. they come with the same warranty as a brand new one and you will never know it was refurbished besides the fact that you pay less for it. everyone that i know that has a mac laptop with the exception of my husband (his was a gift to him) has a refurbished one. he used to have a refurbished one, had it for about 5 years, then when someone got him his new one, he gave his old one to his brother and his brother still uses it. has had it a little over a year now.

so, if you REALLY want a mac (and I highly suggest it, cuz you could end up spending more money on repairs if you buy a windows one that what you would spend on buying a mac), check that out on their site. it really is great!!!
