| Life Lock ???? Does anyone know much about this program? Life Lock? You pay $10 a month/ $7 for children and they safeguard your personal information - Social Security #? It puts an "alarm" on all your credit stuff and social security number, etc. So if someone is applying for credit using your number, you will get a call....even if you don't answer the phone (miss that call), it doesn't matter because the application won't go thru unless this company and your approval. The man in charge of this, gave out his SS # on tv today too! There was a young man who tried to apply for college and he couldn't because of all the loans he had out and past credit problems, etc. He had now clue what they were talking about...anyway, his SS# was stolen when he was only SEVEN years old!!! Another lady was going to have all four of her children taken away because it was said that she had just had a baby and it had traces of drugs in its system. Her youngest was older (can't remember the age), so she went to the hospital and tried to get it worked out...I mean, hello....anyone could tell that she had not just had a baby, etc. She is still fighting to clear her name. While the lady had the her baby taken away, did some community service and now has her baby back! So, the "real" lady shouldn't still be fighting to clear her name!!!! Another was a man about 66 years old....he lost EVERYTHING because some man got his information and had thousands, thousands of dollars in debt. A lot of medical stuff. The "real" man went to the hospital and the hospital said they could tell he wasn't the man in question, but they were still after him to pay the bills! What is that all about???!!! That is just NONSENSE!!! I was doing some holiday gift stuff today in front of the TV and Montel Williams was doing a show on the holidays and identity issues. It is SCARY!!!! I wonder if it would be a good thing? For my family of 3...it would be $324 a month....... Did anyone else see that? I bet Montel has a site with more information on it. I haven't looked up Life Lock online yet...but plan on doing it!

| I'm confused, if you pay $10 a month, for a family of five, it couldn't be more than $50 per month??? Maybe there is a one time upfront fee and then $10 per month???

| you can just call the credit agencies and do it for free. My friend did it during his divorce. When he went to buy a truck it wouldn't allow them to run his credit until he authorized it.

| I've heard about Life Lock and was thinking about it. And I think she meant $300 per year.

| The thing I like about LL is that it is SO hard for people to get their credit and affairs in order after their identity is stolen. But LL takes care of it all! How much less of a headache that would be!
