So I finally got my Razr phone and it's DEFECTIVE  It won't turn on, only flashes the "Hello Moto" screen So now I've been on hold for 22 minutes and counting with the returns department:rolleyes: My landline cordless is dead so I'm stuck at my desk with the corded phone and I'm starving! :( If I hang up, I'll have to go through the "push 1 for sales, 2 for blah blah blah" menu from hell again WHY ME?!?!! Any guesses on how long my actual hold time will be? It's Sprint, if that helps:rolleyes: |
28 minutes now:mad: |
oh, and somehow I'm in the Spanish version of hell too, so I don't understand the "we'll be right with you" messages in between all the muzak:rolleyes:  |
Oh that stinks! I hope they get it worked out for you. Maybe you'll learn a little Spanish.:p My daughter and I both have Razrs and my husband used to have one and we never had any problems with ours so hopefully this is a fluke thing. I hate being on hold! |
Sprint is the WORST for making people hold.. But i can tell you to try this. I have a razr phone with cingular and sometimes mine freezes up. take your battery out. leave it out for a few minutes. and then put it back in.. hope you get it working! |

Oh I thought you said it would turn on but wouldn't go past hello moto. thats why i said take battery out and try again yeah sounds like your gonna need a new phone or a completely different one. good luck with sprint though  |
Thanks Amy:laugh: FUN! 50+ minutes I just called them on my cell phone and pushed the number for NEW customers, and don'tcha know I got RIGHT THROUGH:irk: It's not the right department to return my phone, but they did tell me that I could just go to a Sprint store, so off I go! |
Oh, and I'm leaving my home phone on to see how high the timer goes:p |
Good Luck! |
OMG I feel like a freaking HOSTAGE:mad:! I called the store just to be certain that they could help me, and they CAN'T without a "return authorization form" from Sprint. WTF?!?!?! I HATE them so much right now:cry: |
Well you sure aren't an advertisement for Sprint.:p That is pretty freaking ridiculous! |
Girl, I'd switch if we didn't have FOUR phones with them, I'd have to pay so much to break the contracts:( I am now on hold again, this time it's 34 min and counting:mad: UGH!:p |
I think I'm about to lose my f-ing mind here:mad: It's now been 1 hour and 23 minutes, on my second attempt:mad:  |
i would think if you just got the phone they would let you exchange it at the store |

Well, after holding for a ridiculously long time, I accidentally hung up:cry: I emailed customer "service" and asked them to send me the form. Also complained, not that it'll do any good, about the lousy service, and how my messages are delayed for hours and sometimes DAYS. Hopefully this will help prove that they breached the contract, so we don't have to pay the early termination fees:rolleyes: I will be returning the phone, the bluetooth, and the travel charger. After the holidays, we're switching to somewhere else, any suggestions? My hubby really needs to keep his number for business, so hopefully we'll be able to do that. I dunno, but we never ever had a problem until Sprint took over things. Nextel ROCKED! |
No telling with sprint. Bad thing is when they send you a replacement its going to be a refurbished phone. You might have had better luck going into the store. |

I called back a little while ago and got right through (to someone in India, I think), but they did email me the return label. Now I can drop it off at FedEx and start planning our escape:p |

That is great news! Good luck. |

We have Cingular and have always been very happy with them- although I guess that's the new AT&T now. I think I heard that there was a new law that companies had to let you keep your number. Anyone know anything about that? |

SPRINT IS TERRIBLE! i spent 6 hours on the phone with them one time trying to get my boyfriend a new "comprible" phone that he could watch sprint tv on because on of their sales associates told him he could on the MOTO Q just so happens that they cannot. I hate sprint im sorry but they bother me their customer service is absolutly terrible i would never ever refer anyone to sprint. |
My husband and I both have Razrs and we hate them. Awful battery life and poor connections. We're just waiting until we're eligible for free phones or at least a discount. |

I have a razr (my 2nd one) and I have no problems with it; I really like that phone. We are with at&t and half my phone conversations drop out and I can't even hear what the other person is saying, so I personally don't recommend that. Wondering if verizon is any good?. |
