Closing Arguments Are Today! I'm gonna Barf, I'm gonna Scream, I'm gonna Cry, I'm gonna Jump up and down... I just don't know what to do!!!!!!!! The closing arguments start at 1:30 PST TODAY!!!!! And then the Judge gives some instructions and then they give it to the JURY! I don't know when the Verdict will come..... but its close..... Oh boy is it close.... I got to see the 1999 victom for the first time yesterday... as she was entering the elevator to leave she mouthed "Thank you" to me. I just broke down and sobbed... I had never seen her before... she was always a name on a document to me. a previous victom... But there she was, a real person, hurt like me. This man is a monster! I prey that the Jury see's it! Please pray that the jury see's it! I'll let everyone know as soon as I know more! |
You ladies rock..you stood up to the monster. God will take care of the rest honey. You guys did good. Take a deep breath and think good positive thoughts. |

Be so very proud of yourself!!! I know I do not know you personally, but last Friday I thought about you. I was in court as usual on the civil motions calander and there was an evidentiary motion being heard that required testimony. It was the civil suit in a case very similar to yours. I watched the victim get absolutly battered by the defense attorney and she broke down completly. I thought to myself how strong and determined you must be to have been able to do that. Certainly stronger than I myself could be. No matter what the outcome (which I am sure will be "guilty") you did something most people could not, you helped that other victim probably more than you will ever know, and you made others aware of a serious problem. Just remember no matter what happens in the courtroom that will not be this person's final judgment, and you did the right thing even though it was not the easy thing!!! |

Kathryn, I\'m so sorry you are going through this. Its crap. They always say the victim seduced the attacker. Its just stupid. It seems like the criminals get more rights than the victim. and I want to smack the crap out of that defense attourney. What a freaking loser. You are in my thoughts and prayers. |
