I know. Watching that video really pissed me off! Kathryn, I don't think I've posted on any of your threads but I've been keeping up with your story and thinking a lot about you. I admire you as well. You are such a great example, to step forward and go through this abuse in the courtroom after you've already endured an unbelievable amount of abuse by this man...You are just amazing.

Sorry you cannot get the video to open but the video is very upsetting. The defense attorney is attacking the victim(our friend) ...in my opinion the defense attorney is trying to create some reasonable doubt. Of course the stupid accused is denying the incident....he claims she came onto him!!!!!!!:confused: :confused: Are you kidding me? Look at him....he is nasty!!!!! I cannot imagine anyone ever coming onto him!!!
I pray all this is over soon and ends well for Kathryn!!! Many prayers going her way!!!!

I just spoke to Kat and she is waiting at the courts. She said she is going to wait all day, every day until the jury reaches a verdict. So PLEASE everyone keep her in your prayers. This is just so difficult for her. Just hearing her voice made me cry but I had to wait until we hung up the phone before I cried because I'm trying to be strong for her.

That video made me so mad :mad: Being a criminal lawyer is tough though...I had a law teacher in high school who used to be one. He was making a ridiculous amount of money, but decided to quit and become a teacher because he couldn't take it anymore. He told us about how he had to defend people that he knew were guilty. That defense attorney who's attacking Kathryn most likely looks in the mirror everyday and doesn't like who she sees. There's no way she truely believes that her client is innocent...but unfortunately it's her job to defend the monster :thumbdown:

So sad...that is one job that I would not want..."defending people that you know are guilty"!!! I know I could not do it!!!! I guess in order for our justice system to work...there has to be defense attorneys.
I just cannot imagine what Kathryn is going through...I hope it all turns out in her favor.

According to the article:

"Crumal was convicted of three misdemeanors, including 2 counts of sexual battery."

So he didn't get off with nothing. The punishment phase is next month. I sure hope he gets more than just a slap on the wrist.

Unfortunately, unless there are more victims out there that come forward so that he can be charged with additional crimes, he probably is going to get away with this...I watched the video & I felt like slapping him.
