| we stay at a bed and breakfast when we go visit my family. this way we can all visit, but we can unwind at night and have our "special"time AND we dont have to cook or do dishes in the mornings! sounds like your sister is a bit of a brat. i think you should take the futon and let hubby sleep naked out there! if anyone complains, just say that they wouldnt have to see anything if your sister just gave up the room for you for a few days! |

| a hotel is always best way to go ... come and go as you wish... no conflicts ... try not to think about your older sister, that is very inconsiderate of her .. you can show her you are better than that! Good luck, a week is a long time to stay at your parents and be upset ...

| Since you cannot afford a hotel, I would calmly explain to your mom that it is ridiculous for a married couple to have to share a twin bed or a small futon when your sister can fit since she will be sleeping by herself...good luck!

| Be happy you have someone to stress over at Christmas. Be the bigger person and have a good time!
