| What breed of dog on Mary Poppins?? Is anyone else watching Mary Poppins tonight? Well, this is driving me nuts!! What breed of dog is that cutie on Mary Poppins? Hubby thinks he's a yorkie, but I think he's a yorkie mix or another breed of terrier. What do you think?? I tried to google it, and came up empty-handed.

| I thought it was interesting he had a coat on too. The movie was made in 1963 and people still have a problem with clothes on a dog. I did think he was a yorkie but then seen how big he was and that he had a long tail. I thought i heard that that is what they looked like back then but im not sure, Im going to look it up tomorrow.

| I saw that it said that, but I can't believe it. I guess mixes can throw you. I thought a bearded collie was a much bigger dog??

A bearded collie is much bigger. But, hey, with mixes you can get just about anything. They were probably guessing anyway. In other words he is a mutt, though a cute one!
