I was lucky enough to see them one time here in NE PA. At the time I was alone, driving up in the hills on a lonely dirt road late at nite and they scared the holy beejeepers out of me. The were shades of pink. I would love to see them again. They were absolutely beautiful.

The Northern lights are beautiful!! We can get good views of them up here in Northern Minnesota. I can just imagine how beautiful and awesome they must look from Alaska!!!

wow i saw the video, that is sooo cool and amazing and beautiful! I've never seen them before or a video, i would love to see them one day. When do they happen? Is it all the time?

Thank you Denise for that walk down memory lane for me.
I lived in Alaska many years ago when my father was in the service and we were were lucky enough to view them many times before we left for the lower 48. Truly, one of the most beautiful things to see in the world.
