| I've heard a lot of good things about the Husqvarna Viking #1, Also, when I saw them in Joann's they looked well made, and did great jobs.

| Maybe you should ask Misty (MistyInCa) ?? She might have an idea. Or Des (Tiger's Mom) might too....I BELIEVE they both have embroidery machines. As a matter of fact, Linda (Fufufashions) might too...I would PM those three and see if they have recommendations! Are you going to be making doggie clothes soon?!?!??!?!?!?

| I can't remember what model I tried with Husqvarna but I believe it was the top of the line and I loved it . . . .hubby had about died when I told him the price . . . I was adamant to get one so a few days after I went to the Bernina store and tried theirs . . I loved it too . . .so I told hubby again and fortunately for me, he had the best round of golf that afternoon and said yes It was about the same price at the Hisqvarana but it was not the top of the line . . I have no regrets getting it as I am loving its use soooo much. My sewing machine is a bernina so I am so glad I ended up with the same brand for my embroidery machine. With the growth of orders since I had the embroidery, I am now looking into buying a commercial one next year Good luck on whatever you decide. I personally would go with whomever can provide the best training for its use . . . . Bernina has an excellent training program and the store was 2 miles from home (whereas the Husqvarana was like 15 miles away . . . |

I did want to try to make jammies for Zoe (and maybe I'll have to make a pair for Kobi & Kiwi -just don't expect des' quality!) but mostly I think it would be neat to be able to personize things that are already made. I'm making blankets for my boys and now my nephews all want one and it started with that. I thought it would be neat to add their names or maybe a quote or photo to the blanket to personalize it. I'll keep you posted on how I do....

| I dont have an embroidery machine yet but Ive been researching them for years just waiting to save enough money, lol. My personal favorite is the Husqvarna Viking, they are top of the line quality- you will not be dissappointed with them. One day I hope to have their Designer 1 machine.

| I have the Futura but have not even tried the embroider yet. From what I hear, there is one person on here that has it too and sells quite a lot of things to people here. I'm sure when she reads this she will respond. |

If given the choice, I'd choose the husqvarna over the Singer. Singer isn't quite the sewing machine name that it used to be.
