| I'd take it to Sears and let them show you how to thread it, and wind the bobbin. They are really good about it.

| I'd love to help you but all I can manage is a button. I took sewing in the 8th grade but my project was unrecognizable. I got a D and it was stongly suggested I not take 2nd semester.

| I use an old kenmore and also have my Mom's old Kenmore. What is the model number of yours? If it is the same as one of mine, I could scan the directions and email them to you. I have manual for both machines and they are each a little different.

| Brenda~ you're too funny! Well, at least you WANT to sew, LOL! And BTW, the bobbin is what locks the threads together sort of on the bottom of the item you're sewing on. Well that doesn't make that much sense, but once you see how the machine works, it will, haha.

| Brenda, I just started to use my machine. Its a new, fancy pants thing my Mom bought me for my Birthday LAST December. It does way too much. I was like "uh i just want to sew a straight stitch!" LOL Im just starting on the straight stitch thing, and constantly going back to the manual! LOL Hopefully I will learn to use all the functions sooner than later.
