| Hi everyone! I want to thank everyone for their thoughts, cards, prayers and gifts. I am overwhelmed by the generosity of my YorkieTalk family. I have always been on the "other" side of the giving -- and it is humbling to be on the receiving end. A quick update -- I went to the doctor yesterday and they removed the 21 stitches. I broke both the bones in my lower leg just above my ankle -- the force of the fall knocked my ankle from under my foot and shattered the bones. Of the two bones in my ankle the larger bone was broken in 5 places and the smaller bone broken in 2 places with a bunch of fragments that were removed. I will not set off metal detectors everywhere -- I have a 6" steel rod in my leg holding my bones in place. If all goes well, I will be sewing again in a few days, remember the painters are still repairing the damage from the fire we had on Columbus Day. My internet time is very limited right now cause I am still in a drugged fog from the surgery and such. In fact I need to put a disclaimer on this message because it probably doesn't make any sense. Sending hugs and love from Gerogia to all...... Cindy |
