I will be picking Scrapindee up on Thursday, so she won't need a ride on Friday. The airport is very easy to arrive or leave from. The secure area is just behind a wall to the main hallway. Many times you can see the person when they step foot in the terminal through the glass they have on the top part of many walls.

OH Forgot. The barbeque that competes here in Marysville (was here again this weekend) is from the Hilton on the Plaza not the Holiday Inn. Sorry for misleading you! I am sure it will still be wonderful though.

Ooh, I am SO excited! I am leaving TX on the 18th and spending a few days in southern KS with my friends and family. Then will be headed to KC on Friday morning. I can't WAIT to leave!!

And also...I wanted to clarify how the vendors will be taking payments? Will they be able to take credit cards or debit cards? Or do we need cash and checks?

good question.. I was just about to ask.. I remember at the YF last year, most vendors took our paypal numbers and sent us as invoice when we all got back.. will anyone be doing this at this meetup?

Yes, Angie is her name and she owns Barkville Pet Boutique!!!!!! She will be with us all day Saturday and will be a vendor as well.

I can only speak for myself, but cash and checks always work and I can certainly send a paypal invoice as well. I'm not planning to have much pre-made since I do custom sizing orders, but will always take orders!!! I have one special dress and harness that I am making just for the meet-up........

I think most metropolitan areas have wireless internet in their hotels. KC is a big city, so my guess is that we'll have it.

LOL...are YorkieTalkers die hard or what?! We want to be at a YT-in-person meetup and still be able to post to each other online!!! ha ha

lol so true.. I think I read on the hotel website that the hotel offers free internet access... let me go double-check

Cynthia mentioned something like that....I told her she was too trusting

I would think vendors might be worried people would take the merchandise and not pay??
