| Zune, I-Pod, or MP3 player Okay, ladies I need your help. I want to get one of these for my daughter, but I do not know which one is better. What would you reccomend, all she needs it for is music and watching video's... My daughter is only 10 so it does not need to be all fancy, just something that works good... Thanks in advance,

| 10 is pre-teen. She will want what all her friends have. I vote for the Ipod. The other players won't always play songs you can purchase from the ITunes store. You can get a nice little Ipod shuffle for not a lot of money.

| I have an ipod and love it. And isn't limewire a bad thing now? I didn't load it onto my new computer because you can pick up so many viruses. Not to mention there's that whole crackdown on 'free' music.

| Yes limewire is not good for your puter, I had to take my laptop in for repair and thats what caused it, my daughter had downloaded many songs, and the guy told me , you can be fined for downloading there music, They removed it from my puter and i have not had any more problems.

| That's where I was going with that I'd rather pay .99 cents a song than get busted and sued.

| No, you can download songs from iTunes from .99 and you can also upload (not sure what the proper word is??) CDs.

| Eh, IMO, nothing really. iPod is just a particular MP3 player.

| A Zune is Microsoft's version of an Ipod. I have heard mixed reviews. I recall (and I might be wrong) there was an issue in that you could only use a song on one device, and that each song could only be installed on a device one time. With the IPod, you save the song in your library and you can reinstall it as many times as you need to. I believe IPod allows you to buy one song and put it on as many as three devices.

| I had a Zune for a brief period and hated it. The battery life was awful and I wasn't impressed at all with its performance. I exchanged it for an ipod and I love it! Definatly go with the ipod in my opinion.
