My mom is driving me crazy! Sorry really long

wow, so sorry to hear that you are having problems ...
I bet your mom just wants to spend more time with you. I am not much older than you are and my mom lives quite a distance from me.
I wish I could be with her more, especially since she made such an effort to be with me after the tragedy that took my husband and child from me recently ...
I am only 22 and I have lost my family ... my parents are all I have now. Be glad you have your mom ... I miss my husband and daughter every day.

Sit down and spend some quality time with your mom. She probably needs you more than you know.

girl tell me about it.... now my mother doesn't have the same relationship issues as your mother but the sleeping issue gets yelled about in my house all the time as well.

i'm looking to move out asap because its the only thing that will help. unfortunately i'm going to be living in a box when i do find a place because i'm poor as dirt.

I know EXACTLY how you feel Its like some type of switch flips and they are different people - I dont get it - and really dont want to understand anymore. The best thing I can tell you is to just concentrate on your life and what you want and try not to let her mood get to you. I know its hard....if you ever want to rant, complain or just talk...im here and I know how you feel

I know you are stressed out. I would be too. Just do what you have to do. Finish school, then you can move out and go from there. Its hard to live in a situation where you feel unwanted there or you feel uncomfortable being there. I have been there before.

Hang in there, it WILL get better. Trust me.

Thanks. Yes it makes me very stressed, on top of school i come home and she yells at me, argues, etc. It's making me break out like crazy. When i get stressed i get bad acne and i hate it, i even hate going out in public w/o make up.

I am 39 and my mom has been that way my whole life. She is in a mood now and mad at me and my sister. We are grown adults with children, but she has never treated us that way.

It's pretty much the same here as you said, if she is miserable mad, she will let everyone else know and make it like that for them too. When she is mad and she is cleaning she slams things, makes so much noise, omg i hate that! I don't like loud noise like that and it frustrates me so much! I hope you had a happy thanksgiving

You mean with her bf? Well he is mean to me, or just rude w/e it's called i dont like it but with her i guess he's nice for the most part. He helps her with rent, etc. but to me he's a deadbeat. He drinks all the time with his friends and doesn't spend enough time with her, all he does is come home and sleep. He doesn't take her out and stuff and i think a bf should do that. But he is retiring soon and moving to PR so he is going to be gone soon. I feel bad 'cause i dont want her to be left alone and im leaving soon anyway, so she will be alone anyhow but it's his choice to leave, and that's messed up on his part. Anyway since she knows he's leaving anyway she just doesn't care i guess and just deals, ignores the fighting.

Well, I had a terrible Thanksgiving...she did ruin it. But at least it's over. YOU are on my list for a XMAS card!!! Be looking for one from Pennsylvania!!!

Aww im sorry she ruined it! But yes it's over Mine turned out okay, the fact that ppl were here made it fun. Everything's okay now, but it will prob. not be in a few days, it's like a rollercoaster. lol You are on my list too I am just waiting for my cards to come in!
