| ![]() I love the stuffing, turkey, white turnip, butternut squash and homemade whole cranberry sauce. I made the stuffing, butternut squash, turnip and cranberry sauce today. Tomorrow I will just have to do the turkey (cook in a bag), do the mashed potatoes, heat up the rolls and vegetables. I also have a blueberry pie and a chocolate cream pie (usually we have apple, pumpkin and pecan pies, but I decided to change this year). Conner will have a little white meat turkey.

| ![]() Here's more for you. It was an big old victorian (tudor style with an open turret staircase) farmhouse. The dining room table sat 12 comfortably. I was 22 yrs old and 6 mos along, Scott was 12 and hungry all of the time. I ate the pumpkin and he ate the crust & we both mowed on the whipped cream. Grandpa was sitting at the table with the movie projector showing movies on a big screen in the parlor. My dad was the one who ratted us out. It was a good pie.

| ![]() Im pretty picky. Usually the only thing on my plate at thanksgivng dinner is Turkey, Mac and cheese (but ONLY if its kraft boxed), Rice and gravy (if we are having that instead of mac and cheese, Biscuit or roll, banana pudding and chocolate pecan pie! We are going to a nice restaurant for dinner tomorrow, just me and mom since there was some family drama about which house we would eat. I think I might not even get turkey... i'm thinking steak maybe? |

| ![]() Oh boy.... Shana is asking hard questions again. Like everyone we have special holiday dishes that we make twice a year..... The green jello and the orange jello are two of my most favorites. But it's hard to beat good cornbread dressing and giblett gravey. But wait..... then there's the broccolli casserole and sweet potato casserole and seven layer salad ...... |

Me too! I just made some today with fresh cranberries, oranges, apples, etc. YUM!!! Then I also use some of that (above) to put in red Jello along with crushed pineapple, apple chunks, diced celery, and pecans! YUMMMMY! My family always requests that I make it for Thanksgiving. Nothing better with turkey. Canned cranberries just don't compare!
