| My Daughter is almost 9 now and shes been on this Annie kick for a little over a month now. Shes in the church choir and she has dance 3 times a week so I introduced this movie to her, I thought she'd like it. I was wrong, she LOVES it. She sings ok but she dances very good. She wants to join the New York Ballet one day. I don't know anything about Ballet but her instructor loves her. She's going to be a Sugerplum fairy in the Nutcracker. Performances start Dec.9 and go till Dec 17th. By the 17th I will hate nutcracker music. But I will love it agian next year. |

| So she can sing and dance? Talented little girl! I could dance like crazy, I have taken lessons since I was 2.. ballet, tap, and jazz. But when I sing I sound like a dying cow. I love the nutcracker, she got a great role! |

| I can so relate to that! My daughter just finished a play by the high school as an orphan in "Annie" She has been singing all those songs for the last two months. An of course we had to go to several performances. The funny thing is out of the blue my husband and I both will find ourselves singing the songs, now. I was thinking about getting her the movie for Christmas, hmmm... I may have to rethink that .I have attached a picture of my daughter and the girl who played Annie.

| Be thankful for her addiction to Annie and her love of song and dance and hope she stays on that kick a long time. My daughter was very similar and by 12 she was at the dance studio 5-6 times a week for hrs - but guess what?? I always knew where she was at & she didn't have time to run the mall, chase boys, spend hrs on the phone or computer - she lived that way up until June when she graduated high school. Didn't mean to get all serious, But I think it's a Hard Knock Life could be a lot worse - hey that reminds me she did dance to a Hard Knock Life - and they did that as a competition number and it won everywhere it went. Matter of fact they got all the way to 2nd place at a Showbiz's National Championship competition in Texas against some of the stiffest competition from across the country. Enjoy the Nutcracker, we've been that route too - but I even played the music in the car
