u will love it!!! I worked with bare minerals for 3 years got my professional makeup certificate in it ha ha and trust me it truely is amazing I did a project with it for school and 80% of the girls young and old found their skin to look better and healthier!! just remember dont use to much tho u only need a pea size amount and it goes along way I hope u loveeeeee it as much as i do!

It's definately worth It out. For the foundation, you'll only save a couple dollars unless you get lucky. but for things like the brushes, concealor, eyeshadows and the new stuff, it's definately worth it. I got the rare minerals night treatment for only $40 as opposed to $60 in the store.

Thanks College Cutie!! If others have not seen the demo you are supposed to turn the container over and shake a bit since there are tiny holes that releases it into the cap. Once you see what's in the cap, you even then tap your brush a few times before you put it on your face. I love it most because I have always hated heavy makeup and this is so natural.

I don't go with just one seller. I just do a search for "Bare Escentuals" and then go from there to find the best prices. Also, BEWARE of fake Bare Minerals products! There are a lot of people on ebay that try and sell imitation bare minerals products. They're pretty obvious about it though, so just be careful.

Also for those of you that aren't aware, you're supposed to switch out your brushes every 6 months I think. I've had mine for a long time, so I just bid on some on ebay for around $5 a piece and then they combine shipping if bought by the same seller, so that's somehting to keep in mind as well.

my makeup artist says the cleaners they sell are just like watered down baby shampoo.. (which i'm sure all of us have from washing our little ones faces)

I use the brush cleaner from BE....but now I've noticed that my kabuki brush bristles are getting a little hard (even after washing) I think I've had it about a year...so I just ordered a new one. lol

That may be what she thinks, but it works great... My son uses it for his face and loves it too... The other soaps were not working for him... It has a 4.7 out of 5 rating on QVC w/ 484 reviewers... I have washed my brushes several times w/ no problem and they have not gotten hard... I have never tried the BE brush cleaner... I'm sold on the purity... Also, I have Lupus and I'm prone to rashes on my skin... I have tried everything from baby shampoo to you name it and I'm very happy with the purity and the pure grace as I have not had any rashes since I started using it...

Another good face cleaning product is cetaphil (sp?) It's very light and not harsh at all! I think it's hypo-allercenic as well.

Just found this thread....I also LOVE Bare Minerals (BE) and have been using for over 8 years...also found them on QVC which by the way has the best makeup lines around and best part is that if you don't like anything you can send it back for total refund if done within 30 days. Now we have a Bare Minerals store in our area so it makes it that much nicer to try new shades right on you. You can't go wrong with BE...try the any of the Rare minerals line...you will LOVE especially the new blemish one.

Also can't go wrong with Phylosophy either.

oh no not saying that it is bad, just saying its cheaper to just use baby shampoo and accomplish the same thing

Love Love Love Bare Minerals!!!

I've been using it for a year now and I'm totally addicted. I've always had problems matching the right foundation to my skin tone. I was at Sephora and they tried it on me - I loved it and have not used anything else since then.

My 21 yr old daughter has always had problems with eczema on her face. She wasn't able to wear make-up because it was very painful. She also started using Bare Minerals and she also loves it.

It just looks so natural and gives you a healthy glow.

We're actually going to Brea Mall in a bit to buy some stuff we ran out off LOL
