The lab has the results in about an hour. My infertility specialist will have do pregnancy test to get my HCG level number and then two days later will go back again to make sure the number had increased. Guess I better get to calling them so I can have blood test today.

OMG ... i am an OB nurse at a very large woman's hospital in Houston. More than 50 % of our pts are fertility patients. What a great joy for you... I will pray for you ... and the well being of your pregnancy... this hits so close to home for me. I can not tell you how many success stories I hear everyday ... You have to be positive and actually see yourself delivering this beautiful angel you are carrying. My thoughts are with you.

The first one was last night, Saturday. I took one this morning and instantly positive. I called doc's office and they are faxing in the order for my blood work asap. I know by the time I get the results back the office will be closed. Usually the lab will give me the results if I stick around since their records dept is closed I can not sign a release. Guess I will be sticking around the hospital for awhile. Worth the wait though to get my level number. I am excited and nervous at the same time.

Doc's office just called me and HCG level is 161. Another blood test on Tuesday. Start prometrium today.
