I just had my husband pick up Shopping At Tiffany's, it was getting some good feedback on another board and good reviews on Amazon. It's hardcover and Tiffany blue so it's a pretty cute book just to own

Can't wait to start it. Unfortunately, my sil loaned me a really large (900+ page) book told in the voice of Henry VIII so I'm only half way through that one and can't start it yet.

They are excellently written and not 'dry' informational books.

I read these, EXCELLENT!!!! All her books are really good!!

I just started The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith on a trusted reccomendation.

I am enjoying it so far. It is the first of a trilogy. It's not a new book, but it's well written. Got great reviews on Amazon as well.

I agree... great read. I'm on the waiting list at my library for The Kite Runner. I've heard it's quite a bit darker and more emotional.

Yeah, that is what I heard...and I thought this one was dark....jeez, I might wait a bit to read the Kite runner lol
