I LOVE her website. its just as hilarious as her books. i would laugh out loud too while reading the books. she is just so real with her comments, they remind me of what i would say.

I have to say, The Dogs of Babel was too disturbing for me. I regret reading it and for months couldn't get some of the images out of my head. Disturbing is the only word I can think of using to describe it. I wish I had never read it

really.. what was it about ? This is the same reason I cannot get myself to read marley and me..lol.. i think it will hit to close to home after losing my precious maddy a year ago...

i read it, and believe me its totally nothing like marley and me. its fictional and a little weird, but i don't regret reading it. its just a book.

It's about the belief that dogs can talk/communicate with us. A guys wife dies and the only witness is the dog. A group of people think that you can teach dogs to put together words, even going so far as to surgically alter their jaws to make them more human like and make speech easier(ICK!). This is the part that haunts me, the description of the scene where they bring in the poor animal that's had surgery was horrifying to me.

These are the names of a trilogy of books by Francine Rivers, Mark of the Lion series. She tells in a very personal way, of the times set in ancient Rome and dealing with the travails and triumphs of early Christianity.

They are excellently written and not 'dry' informational books.

I highly recommend Janet Evonavich series.. I love her books.. Start with the first one.. One for the Money is her first.. then its 2 for the Show etc.

I am in the middle of this series now after someone here recommended it... flying through book after book. In fact, I just finished High Five which ends in a cliffhanger and I didn't get to the stinkin' library to get Hot Six before it closed tonight. DANG!!!!

After reading 'Kite Runner', I thought it was 'too much'. It brought out things we need to be aware of but it seemed like 'Hey, if I put this and this in the book I know people will like it because they like to read this kind of stuff and it will make me seem great.' But it is a great recommendation!

I recommend reading Christine Feehan books (Dark Series and Nightwalker series), Sherri King (series), Laurell K. Hamilton (series), and Angela Knight

You should read CF dark series over 26 books in the series and they are toe curling good!
