| Coke a Cola Ham? Has anyone made a ham with Coke a Cola?.... I've seen it where the ham is brined in it and I've seen it with the ham cooked with it....never had it though, didn't want to risk ruining a good ham.... I'd hate to have to get all the guests drunk before serving dinner to conceal the disaster....

| Theres a recipe on this site for a cherrry coke ham. I wonder what it would be like. I might cook some ham slices in it and try it just to see. http://www.thecoca-colacompany.com/h...e/recipes.html

| Did you mix the two together and put it on at the beginning or at the end of cooking, was it liquidly or was it thick like a paste?

| We always used coke in our ham! (With some mustard on the top.) It's yummy! Kind of like the hole brown sugar/maple ham...gives it a really sweet taste. |

| I cook BBQ chicken in coke and it is the best I have ever had. I use my electric skillet and put the chicken in there, season to taste, pour over a whole bottle of BBQ sauce, slowing pour in a whole can of regular coke making sure not to wash off the BBQ sauce cook on low heat for 1 hour....yummy!!! And so easy. |

| You guys are really tempting me to give it a try, everyone who has had it seems to love it... I guess once it condenses down it would be a sweet- caramely topping.....
