| Your Favorite Toys from Childhood that are not around any more. With a 5 year old Nephew and 11 year old neice, I was thinking of what to get them and you know what I wanted? A toy I used to LOVE that is not made anymore... Remember the Inch Worm? The one you ride? You bounce up and down on it and it to make it move. Do you have a favorite toy that's not around anymore? What is it?

| I had an Alf doll and a Teddy Ruxpin (sp). I remember playing with Polly Pockets and I had a Littlest Pet Shop van. I loved my Barbies too. My fave toy wasn't anything popular. It was just a stuffed dog. I called him Oscar. I carried that thing everywhere.

| I'm in my 40's. When I was buying a present for my 1 year old great-nephew, I found a section at Toys R Us that had a selection of "retro" toys. They had a wooden bear that was a pull toy that played the xylophone while being pulled, a wooden slinky pull dog, a "TV" that scrolled pictures when you would it up and a musical telephone. There were several of us in the aisle just getting lost in our memories of these toys. I bought the pull bear, although I figure that it wouldn't compare to the other toys he got, but I didn't care. (I wondered if toddlers would even recognize the phone shape - there aren't many phones that shape these days.) But it was so much fun!!!

| Dolls, dolls and more dolls. Baby dolls, to Barbie Dolls and full-size dolls. -lol - I guess dolls will never go out of style, but I still wanted a doll when I was 12 - girls today are too into boys, cell phones & Ipods at that age

| I had one of those ride on inch worms! That was one of my favorite toys! Teddy ruxpin was my other favorite. I've started collecting all the 80s TR stuff off eBay so I can have it around for my kids (if i ever have any). I was a nerdy little kid, I really preferred my books (which I stll have a TON of), puzzles, and art stuff... and playng out in the backyard with the dogs.

Yep, they are I got one when I was 18. I had been wanting one forever, but my mom never got me one when I was little because they're too expensive for a childs toy. lol. I was lucky too... the one I got was a #10 out of only a limited amount. ...and now she sits in my mom's house. lol
