| I hadn't heard of it but it looks cute. There are so many neat things for kids now.

| It is like a webkinz toy except that with the code that comes with the shining stars toy you can actually register your own star with the national star registry..so it will be your star forever and ever lol..also there is a website for members where there are games and other fun things for kids too.. | I'm an Avon rep and we have these in puppies and teddy bears in an upcoming campaign. And my daughter is dying to have one. So she's getting one.

| We're such nerds. LOL! My husband actually bought one of these for Gizmo! It was at Petco and is VERY VERY soft. I put a squeaker in it....yea, major surgery. and the puppy is one of Gizmo's best pals now. I never actually registered it though. I didn't quite "get" what it was all about. LOL!

| Anyone's daughter interested in a code? As mentioned on this thread, these stuffed animals come with a code that allows you to name your own star and gives access to a website for kids to play games etc... Well, Gizmo really doesn't get online much, except for yorkietalk, so we have a code and a star to name. If anyone's daughter would like Gizmo's code, just pm me. I feel sorry for that poor little star without a name out there somewhere.

| OOO! Gizmo wanted me to make it VERY clear that he is NOT giving up his puppy though.
