| Making something yummy.... PECAN PRALINES! Made from pecans out of trees in my very own yard. This is the first time in a few yrs I've made them. If they turn out good, I may have to make a batch to send to Slade's secret buddy! Also, I want to make some glazed pecans like they have at the Savannah Candy Company, but I can't find a recipe online for glazed pecans. Anybody have one?

| Here are some recipes that I like: Apricot-Pecan Snack Mix 1/4c packed brown sugar 1 1/2 tsp medium-heat chili powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp ground cumin 2c bite-size shredded wheat squares 1c thinly sliced dried apricots 1c pecan halves 3 TBsp unsalted butter; cubed 1 TBsp fresh lime juice Preheat oven to 325. Line shallow baking pan with foil. Mix first seven ingredients together (set aside) Melt butter in large heavy saucepan over low heat. Stir in lime juice. Immediately add all other ingredients. Stir over low heat about 3 minutes or until sugar melts and pecans are well coated. Spread mixture in prepared pan. Bake 12-16 minutes, stirring halfway through. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Store in airtight container in cool place. Makes 16 servings.
