| Send a Christmas card to a wounded American soldier I received this in an email today, and I thought it was a great idea! I think I am also going to have my students make cards to send. ********************************** When doing your Christmas cards this year, take one card and send it to this address. If we pass this on and everyone sends one card, think of how many cards these special people who have sacrificed so much would get. When you are making out your Christmas card list this year, please include the following: A Recovering American soldier c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center 6900 Georgia Avenue, NW Washington, D.C. 20307-5001 If you approve of the idea, please pass it on.

| Thanks! This is such a simple thing....I'm surprised no one has suggested this (to me at least) before now. I think I am also going to contact some other military/veteran's hospitals locally and see if they would like some cards.

| It is sad, isn't it?!! Some fellow homeschool moms and I wanted to have the kids get together to do this....and I thought this would be a great "community" project for my youth group....until we checked further.......it is sad that we can't show our love and support to our troops by doing something simple like this..... Instead, they gave links on how we can show our support!!
