| Paypal Question when you set up a paypal account, does it take money straight from your credit card, or do you put money from your credit card onto the account?

| With my paypal it shows up like this....the credit card pays paypal and then paypal pays the vendor. If that was the question. I only do one thing...pay! lol

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | Yes. I believe it's call: Self Control LOL....I don't know that there is such a feature; but though I've been using paypal for several years, I haven't looked into all it has to offer.

| That's exactly what I do in a way. I bought a loadable Visa (green dot) card at Walmart, and I only put so much on it each pay period. There are some fees, so read up on it, but it's worth it to me.

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | hehehe...I hear THAT! That's why my paypal is attached to a small bank accnt, and I only add a limited amount. Hey, that's what you could do! Transfers are a free service; but, it takes 3-5 business days to complete a transfer from your bank accnt. Wait until you're near your limit for the week/month; then, transfer more funds - timing it so the funds won't be available until the time you've allowed yourself. I guess I kind of do that, and didn't even realize it! For instance, I am dying to shop for GE; but, I can't because I have to wait for funds to be transferred into my paypal accnt. Oh, I know I could use a cc; but, I won't allow me to to that.
