| Aw, I used to have a penpal in middle school. We signed up through the school. We picked what country we wanted a penpal from and whether we wanted a boy or girl. I had a girl from England. I was obscessed with England back then because of the Spice Girls LOL. I had a lot of fun writing to her and getting letters. I'm not sure why it died off but it was cool while it lasted

Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Jack has corresponded with a penpal from Scotland since 1948, I did writing for Jack after he came down with Parkinsons, but now we just take turns calling on the phone (Christmas) and Birthdays It has been very interesting hearing from him all through these years. Our son went to visit him and his family while he was stationed in England, we was so happy he got to do that. That is great she is wanting a penpal. Patti and Jack |

| I am still in touch with my penpal from when I was younger. I think it's so nice to actually write a letter and mail it, especially today when everything is so impersonal. Heck, I would send your daughter a card I think it's awesome that she wants to do this!!!! |
