| ![]() Anyone know what I'm talking about. They are made of felt and you sew on all the stuff and the sequins. They are kind of cheesy but my mom used to make them- and I think they are really neat. I'm going to Disney World for Christmas and thought they would be good as the airlines can't break them. If they don't make the kits- does anyone know where I can find any patterns to make them from scratch? ETA: I looked on eBay but they are EXPENSIVE! I guess maybe they are vintage? |

| ![]() I know my Mom received a stocking made like that one year as a gift for our family a few years ago, and the giver said it came in a kit and she made it, and it was all felt and embroidery and sequins, really cute. Did you want to make it yourself or buy already made ones?

I just did a search for "felt kit" at Joann.com. Hope this helps...

| ![]() Thanks so much Jenn! That is exactly what I'm talking about. My aunt makes those same stockings that you're talking about and they are so amazing. My entire family has them! Mine is Noah's Ark. ![]() |

| ![]() Hey, even I (a very uncrafty me) thought those kits looked cool...they had stockings and some really pretty tree skirts you could make with the same technique...wonder how hard it really is?

| ![]() When I was a girl scout leader (back in the day, for many years) these were great projects...I believe we bought ours from Wal-Mart and Hobby Lobby! They have all different shapes and you could use glitter glue, sequins, pom-poms, etc. I think most kits come with everything you need. Good luck!
