Windows xp usually lets you know if you are running low on memory/space but I'm not sure if the older programs do. The last guy here sj has the correct answer :

Actually, I know it's not my HD though as I have plenty of space, and my computer itself isn't running slow at all. Yahoo Mail is the ONLY site that's doing this - and I know it's got to be because of those flashing ads at the top. It's just plain annoying!

I thought it was just your email but I posted just in case. I would give it a week or so because they may have something wrong there that they are correcting or at least a couple more days. Good Luck

Thanks! I am going to try and stick it out for a while and see if they get the problem fixed because I really do like Yahoo Mail - and I hate to switch
