| wrist problems A few years ago I had surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome in my left hand. NOW I'm having problems with the same wrist, but it's the tendon that runs from the thumb, thru the wrist, and up the forearm. I had injections in the wrist yesterday (ouch!) and am having to wear a splint that keeps the thumb from moving. Dr says it's from repetitive movement just like CTS. He said that if the splint and injections don't work I'll need surgery again I may not be responding to threads as much as I'd like because it's hard to type. Ticks me off because I like to crochet and c ross stitch. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Did it clear up?

| I have carpal tunnel in both wrists, but I opted not to have surgery. I know what you mean about the pain. I had to stop crocheting because I just couldn't anymore. And, I type for a living!! I hope the injections help. That is the only relief I get. Also, warm compresses help alot. Do you have splints that you have to wear at night? Hope you feel better!!!
