Oh no!! What a shock, I am so sorry this has happened!!

I just hate that someone could do this after you just did a very generous act for them. It is so hard to know who you can trust and who you can't anymore. It does make it hard for other members because lately there have been so many scams here on YT.

I do hope you get the money back. And I hope you haven't completely lost your faith in YT and the members. I guess no matter where you go you will always have some bad apples in the bunch.:(

There are so many wonderful members here, who sometimes genuinely need and appreciate help; I would hate to think that the distrust cause by people such as Alycia, would make any of us stop and fight the inclination to reach out to a friend in a bad situation.:(

Janell I too am so sorry that Alycia has not paid you back what she owed. I have followed this closely thru the other forum and really thought she would come thru for you...but alas, it looks like she is not going to do it. What goes around comes around...and it is always worse when it comes back around and bites you in the shorts! :eek: There is a special place in heaven for folks like you who do so much for others...maybe even sequined wings or sumpin! :D You are a good egg!!! One of my favorite eggs as a matter of fact!!! Maybe she will see this and make it right...one can only hope...:rolleyes:

$600?! OUCH! I was scammed earlier this year by a seller for a little over $100 and that ticked me off but I was a newbie and didn't say anything:(

I am so sorry that this happened to you. $600 is a lot of money to lend someone. Hopefully, she'll get back to you on this and do what is right.:(

This is so sad to read ............... I am so sorry Janell that you have suffered financial loss. But I will admit this is not the first time I have seen the ID "willow" come under question regarding ethics. I am really shocked to hear this as I have had conversations with her in threads and PM...........so this is a real shocker to me but then again, I only know her from YT. I guess I am stupified!!!!! I hope that Willow will come to the thread and post her side and how she plans to resolve this serious issue.

Janel...I am so sorry this has happened to you...you have a heart of gold and are always there to lend a helping hand. It makes me so angry to see that Alycia has taken advantage of you and seems to have no conscience, or she surely would be making an effort. I believe I have her address from selling her a dress once...if you need it, just let me know, but I suppose you already have that info.

It is so sad that we think we know and can trust yt'ers, but it seems things like this are happening anyway. I will be very cautious from now on, especially with stories like the one Alycia gave.

Bless your heart...I hope you can somehow get your money back. *HUG*

There is NO possible way this person will take away my faith in people on YT. There are so many good souls here that would not hesitate to lend a helping hand for someone in need. I have seen it time and time again, and I hope I see it for many more years to come. We just have to be cautious whom we choose to help. :)

Also, just an FYI, I do have her full name, address, and phone number. (It just rings), so my options are not limited on what method I decide to proceed with.....

wow! I am so sorry to hear about this. It's so sad for those who are generous to get taken advantage of like this:thumbdown . This woman will get what she deserves. I hope things work out for you.

Yes, anytime there is an issue with a financial transaction, you may contact us. We will try our best to try to resolve the situation if we are able to. If it is an item that has been paid for and not yet received, and if you paid by Paypal, those are generally resolveable through Paypal. We believe it is better for our YorkieTalk community to post about a negative experience, so that other members may know about it, as long as you have given the member ample time to respond. On YorkieTalk, as in life, there will be those people that take advantage of the kindness and generosity of others.

It would be very hard for us to try and help members who loan other members money and don't get paid back, as there is little recourse, other than small claims court. We know that YorkieTalk members can be some of the most generous people on Earth and we hate to see anyone taking advantage of. We urge every member to be very cautious when it comes to any financial transactions, whether it be with a YorkieTalk member or anyone.

This is really sad...I have to say it sounds to me that this woman has some serious issues prioritizing things in life...No running water with 4 kids and pets, but internet access? Owing large sums, but attempting to start a breeding program and purchasing new pups?

There is nothing more that I hate than folks who think they can get through life on everyone else's coat tails and never take responsibility for themselves.

I am so sorry this has happened to you. It is so hard to understand how low some people will sink. But praise God you won't allow this one circumstance to affect your faith in others - the wisdom you gain will be invaluable though!

Glad you have means & methods to track her down. Shame on her!!:thumbdown

Janell i am so sorry this has happened to you. You were so kind to reach out and try to help Willow. It is terrible how she has betrayed that trust. I would take it to small claims court since you have her personal info.
