oh I'm so sorry that happened to you! It's so sad to know that even in a forum where everybody seems to be good people, some are not. I purchased bows from her, and it took some time but I got them. I know some people here never got their orders. If you see this Alycia, you still have a chance to fix this, please return the money she loaned you, you can still make it right... |
I borrowed a stamp from someone the other day and didn't have it off my mine until I could get to the store the next day to pay back. I'm so very sorry and I am glad you posted this so no one else can be taken advantage of in this way. People can be down and out but a loan is a loan and that should be your first concern. You could go to small claims court but if she doesn't have the money EVER then you're right back where you are now. |
I am sorry you are having to go through this, its ver up setting knowing that you can't trust someone!! I am sure that someone on here can help you come up with an idea to get your money back. Good luck! |
Thank you so much everyone for your kindness. I will not allow her to put a damper on what I believe is the right thing to do. I will just be a heck of A LOT smarter next time.......... As much as I'm sure she thinks this is over, she does NOT have the final word on this.... |
This is a darn shame your kindness and generosity has been abused.... I've seen this sort of thing happen a few times on this site and it sure does create a breakdown in the faith of Y.T. members..... When we do business (as in purchasing a pup or a product) or do an act of kindness ( as in donating money or items) from/for a member on this forum and it turns out to be not what was agreed upon, or the goods where not received, this puts the purchaser in a very awkward position as to how or when to make their dissatisfaction public.... I've seen members voice their complaints in a public way so as to warn other potential victims, and then the poster gets scolded and told it should have been handled in a private manner....or the person that's being accused is a long standing member so the complainant is afraid to report the problem out of fears of accusing the well known member.... There has to be a way to report these things in a satisfactory way, after the complainant has exhausted all other avenues in a private way...if it's not made public then it allows the problem to escalate with more victims.... Maybe reporting the problem to admin. and if there's more than one complaint it should be made known  |
Sorry this happened to ya Janell... :( |
Is this the willow that bought the puppy and her CC was never charged so she felt she didn't owe the money too? It makes me so angry that someone comes her to YT and takes adantage of the wonderful warm hearted people we have here. I hope you get it back Janell. |
Oh Janell I am so sorry to hear this. I hope you are taking her to small claims court. Just as many have said, she'll have to deal with her karma but you on the other hand have good karma to look forward to. That was a very sweet and generous thing you did. |
I'm so sorry that there are people who come on here to scam (intentionally) or get themselves into some kind of situation and think the best way out is to just disappear, as I suspect is the case here. Willow needs to come back and make up for all the wrongs - pay the people she owes money to. I know everyone is kind hearted and will forgive her if she makes it right. |
I'm sorry :( I knew I hadn't seen her around here in a long time..I remember her selling bows. I guess we all start to feel like we can trust members that have a post count over 1000 sometimes...and we feel like we know the person when we really have no idea what's on the other side of that name...it's pretty scary. It really makes me mad too because it makes you wary of other YT members and sellers |
I'm sorry this happened to you. You never know who you can trust. |
Oh Janell, I am so sorry Alycia took advantage of your kind heart. What a generous thing you did for this woman! How on earth does she live with herself scamming someone like you? You had so much sympathy for her situation, lent her money in a time of need. I wish I knew of some way to help you, but I have never had any contact with her. If you or some other members here knows her full name, surely there is a way you could track her down? Hugs to you and shame, shame, shame on her:thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown, Lauren:) |
It is a SHAME when kindness is repaid with this kind of behavior. I am very sorry that you are going through this, as it is clearly undeserved. I, however, think the world of you for being so kind and giving this....person....MORE than the benefit of the doubt! |
Janell so sorry to hear this...I ordered several grab bag bows from her a while back and when I didn't get (after reading all her posts of what she was going through personally) I told her to forget them as she was way to busy getting her life together to worry about my bows so I asked her to just PayPal my $$$ back. After several weeks she did just that but it was a far cry from the $600 that she owes you. I hope that she is just consumed with other things right now and that she just forgot or that she comes to her senses and does the right thing. :( |
Janell, I am so glad you posted about this! You already know how I feel about it  Alycia should be ASHAMED of herself for doing this to you. How someone can feel "ok" with themselves after flat out SCAMMING someone like this is just beyond me. What she did just isn't right at all. It's really sad when people do this (not to mention, WRONG) because it makes alot of others hesitant to help people out when they REALLY need it - people that DO have good intentions. It's just not fair when a few slimeballs go and screw it up for everyone else! I am just so sorry girl. I hope to God she pays you back SOMETHING, some day. She really should be feeling about 2 feet tall right now  |
