| I live in s. jersey also. I use my vet Dr. Sheehan as my yorkies groomer. The groomers name is Robin and she did an excellent job. I cant believe the story about Petsmart in Deptford. Im so glad I didnt take Holly there. I picked my vet to use as a first grooming bc incase anything happen to her, the vet is right there. How much was Posh Pets? I have been by that store but never went in it, what type of stuff do they sell? thanks jody

| Does anyone know of places in the s.jersey/philly areas that allow you to bring your dog inside with you? I bring Holly with me to the Deptford and Cherry Hill mall in her carrier and no one said anything to me(I dont think they noticed her honestly). Last week I went to Cosi's on 2nd and lombard(in philly) and my friend and I had dinner and she was in her carrier the whole time and didnt make a sound When we were getting ready to leave we took her out of her carrier and the workers there were saying what a good girl. Most of the stores on Walnut street in Center City allow me to bring her in(actually carry her in my arms not just a carrier!) But I am looking for other places I can go with Holly. Anyone know of anyother places that are dog friendly please let me know.thanks jody

| My vet is in Fairview on Collings Ave, Dr.Sheehan. He also just spayed Holly last Friday she gets her stiches taken out tomorrow morning. She got groomed on Jan.20th and I think it was around 25-30 dollars I dont remeber bc we also bought our other dogs heartworm pills then too. I live in Deptford, by the mall. This vet is great and did a great job on her surgery. The office called me and kept me updated with her progress.

| places i take romeo hey neighbor! we have the same stomping grounds. i really push the limit bringing romeo places with me. i can't stand to see his sad little face in the window if i leave him home. i take him to lowes, home depot, moorestown mall, all the shops at the promenade in voorhees (except lands end- strictly no dogs), dollar stores, beauty supply, commerce bank, cvs, merchantville post office, macaros deli (they welcome him with sliced roast beef!!!), pet stores, salad works (for takeout), michaels crafts, dicks sporting goods, the outdoor mall in cape may, and basically any independenly owned store. ***i was asked to leave echelon mall , but they did let me stay until i completed my $1000 plus purchase at the sports memorablia store. also, a woman in barnes and noble in moorestown kindly said no pets because of the cafe. i don't push my luck in big corporate box stores like target. most people don't even notice him. i have a small black carrier and he doesn't make a peep. he's so happy to come along with me. and i think alot of these stores are happy to have your business in such a competitive marketplace. i spend money and they see me filling my cart. my little baby is no more offensive than some unbehaved kid causing noise or destroying displays. (no offense to mommys of human babies) well behaved yorkies and kids should be welcomed. happy shopping!!!!! *** i think we will be trying the express grooming at posh pets this week. i'll let you know how it goes. |

| I am from central jersey Hi, I am new to this site. I am the owner of a yorkie - who I love so much!! His name is Sinatra and he is 6 years old and he is about 10 lbs. I am really thinking of getting another - a female who I hope is smaller, around 5 lbs. - hoping to find a good breeder in NJ. I am looking forward to being part of this yorkie community. Thanks, Chris |

| LaLoca1 I think my vet Dr.sheehan is very reasonable. For her to get spayed it was 124.00. I dont remember what her first vet visit was(she was all upto date with her shots when I received her). Also if you bring 2 of your animals at the same time you get a multi-pet discount. The staff there are extremely nice and very caring and warm to you. They called me twice through out the day during Holly's surgery to kepp me up-to-date. Also he is the only vet in his practice so you really develop a nice relationship with him, since you dont see anyone else. He has been my family vet since 1991. Plus with the grooming there it is an extra plus, bc if anything should happen to her he is right there. Hope this info helps you and good luck with your new little one when she comes home. You must be so excited! I know I was when I was waiting for Holly to come home. Best of Luck

Thanks for all the great info!! Luca's vet in Blackwood would NEVER think of giving us a multi-pet discount (keep in mind...when I lived at my parents house, we had 4 dogs going to that vet!!!!). Whenever Adrianna does come home, I think I might take her to your vet. Thanks again!!!!!

| I'm looking for a new groomer for my 7 lb yorkie, Bugsy. The groomer I had in Florence moved to S.C, so I started taking Bugsy to Pets Plus at the Shop Rite shopping center on Rt. 130 in Delran. They are wayyy expensive, $45 t0 $50 each time, and they don't do such a great job...I always ask for a yorkie cut, and he comes home with something other than that. I would love to hear of any suggestions in the area. Although Cherry Hill is about 20 minutes for me, I don't want to travel that far, drop him off and come back home. Mia

| Also, if anyone is interested, Willingboro Veterinary Clinic was just remodeled and is absolutely wonderful - located off of Rt. 130 in Willingboro. The staff are absolutely great and the doctors are even better, especially Dr. Karen Hoffman, who was on call at the Mt. Laurel-Moorestown ER Hospital the night Tinkerbell died. She was the best! Mia

| i told a few of you i was going to try posh pets in cherry hill. we finally had our appointment today. i dropped romeo off at 830am for an express grooming. (1 on 1 , no waiting, no crating) the staff was very friendly. he was finished by 930AM and he looks and smells great. they even called me on my cell to tell me he was ok and ready in 10 mins. the prices are fair. $20 extra for express grooming which is optional. their website has a $5 off coupon. |
